Self improvement efforts were enhanced because the agent attended 4-H leader inservice trainings,completed the 'Effective Management of Volunteer Programs' course through AXED Master's program and atttended the Western Regional 4-H Agents Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada

47 volunteers and school personnel were trained and utilized in conducting school enrichment programs to reach over 659 youth.

A leaders meeting was conducted for two new adult volunteer leaders, increasing their knowledge and skills related to organizing meetings, project planning, 4-H opportunities and training opportunities for leaders. 90% of new leaders reported that the orientation was beneficial and would make them better leaders for the youth they serve.

3 new adult volunteer leaders completed the screening process and enrolled as leaders in Colfax County. 18 adult volunteer leaders reenrolled for a total enrollment of 21 leaders in the county.

The State 4-H specialist and members of the leadership team designed a workshop presented at New Mexico Leaders Forum on recruiting and retaining senior 4-H members that 8% of the leaders attended.
