Grant County Office had the 5 year civil right review spring 2009. This was a very productive day spent reviewing the files and contents. It made me much more aware of diversity in content, audiences, media, delivery sites, publicity, phone messages, replys, sign in sheets, etc. I am much more in tune with the rules and laws having been through this review.

Civil Rights files are on-going and coded as sign-up sheets come in. Publicity is tracked and every effort made to reach the population make-up of Grant County, via local newspaper, local radio stations, and posters in strategic locations where permissible.

Phone messages are filed and notations made addressing information mailed or conveyed over the phone or by email.

Quarterly newsletter mailing list is coded for civil rights and updated accordingly.

Home Economist is new and very aware of civil rights and strives to reach all of Grant County's citizens through programming efforts, use of diverse advisory committee, extension association members, and general public requests. Efforts are maintained with all civil rights disclosures on press releases, and program announcements.
Civil Rights trainings offered via Centra are attended live or archival.
Union training was attended in July for non-exempt employees.
Civil Rights files are maintained and coded according to civil rights training.
Media, (print, radio and television) co-operate with our office and it is believed that parity occurs with these efforts as well as placement of program notices at area post office bulletin boards.
