CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLIANCE BY NMSU COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE IS MANDATED BY FEDERAL LAWS AND IS DIRECTLY TIED TO EXTENSION'S RECEIPT OF FEDERAL FUNDING. NONCOMPLIANCE MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF FUNDING FROM OUR FEDERAL PARTNER.

OUR OBJECTIVE SHORT AND LONG IS TO KEEP THE FILES UP TO DATE WEEK BY WEEK AND TAKE OUT WORK THAT HAS PAST THE THREE YEAR TIME PERIOD.

THIS YEAR WE HAD OUR CIVIL RIGHTS REVIEW WHICH IS DONE EVERY FOUR YEARS. THE TEAM FROM THE COLLEGE DID THE REVIW AND THE FILES THAT NEEDED TO BE UPDATED WERE FIXED. OUR DISTRICT DIRECTOR CAME BACK AND CHECHED THE FILES THAT NEEDED WORK DONE ON. WE ARE NOW IN COMPLIANCE WITH OUR FILES. DOCUMENTS ARE ADDED AS PROGRAMS ARE COMLETED.
