Plan Goals
This plan deals with volunteer leader trainings, organizational leaders, project training for leaders, recruitment efforts, Leaders' Forum; anything related to ADULT volunteers.

Adult enrollment:
21 adult volunteer leaders completed the screening process and enrolled as club and assistant club leaders in Doņa Ana County. There is a total enrollment of 89 leaders in the county.

Agents offered training for current leaders. At least one adult leader from each club was required to attend. All clubs at least met the attendance requirement.Improvements in financial reporting and filing from each club and better communication between the office and clubs has occurred. Since the meeting,there was a 50% increase in current leader involvement in our programs.
One new club was chartered in Luna County this year, known as Florida 4-H.Due to the combined effort in recruitment,the agents are in process of orientating 2 new clubs. Leaders of the 4-H club in Columbus attended the orientation session. Their first club meeting is scheduled in November.The agents are also in process of orientating the personnel of Tierra Blanca Ranch,a live-in education program for at risk teens.
The 4-H After School Enrichment Program was presented to the school district advisory board,the after school and summer activities coordinator, and during teacher inservice trainings. Because of these efforts, 11 middle and high school students attended a leathercraft activities program during the summer.During the present school year,newly recruited adult volunteers will be working with the local middle school TOPS(Teen Outreach Program)in the 4-H program capacity.
