Impact Report This year one of the highlights pertaining to project work was the Santa Fe County Project Fair. The Project Fair was hosted by the county council officers. The purpose of the fair was to introduce members to projects that they had not considered before. The agent organized the program by identifying and contacting members and leaders that had a special interest or knowledge of a particular project. The agent asked these key people if they would set up a booth which illustrated what the project was all about. The booths were very hand-on and provided project materials, completed projects, and activities that members could complete. Booths were put together by clubs from throughout the county. The agent also developed a quiz which addressed questions from each of the projects that members could answer when they visited the booth. Members could then win prizes for completing their quiz. The following project areas were highlighted at the fair which was attended by over 100 people: Braiding Dog Horticulture and Agronomy Shooting Sports Horse and Rodeo Clothing Livestock Leathercraft Photography Baking and Food and Nutrition Engineering Science Quilting and Fibercraft Small Animals This year 51 members turned in records books completing 167 projects covering all project areas.
