Impact Report | State Lamb School 10 4-H members attended State Lamb School. Youth received hands on training related to selection, feeding, grooming, and showmanship techniques. 100% of youth reported an increase in showmanship techniques, show preparation, and clipping and grooming. 90% of youth reported an increase in mastery skills such as goal setting, planning, and self-discipline. One parent stated: “This was the best $160 I have ever spent! We have definitely learned more in the last 3 days than we ever thought possible. We are coming back next year and we are bringing other members with us.” One member wrote: “Thank you so much for your help at lamb school. I learned a lot and it helped me make the sale at county fair.” |
