Situation Statement

Assist with safe food products and economic opportunities for county residents lo using local foods and value added components.

Target Audience and Actions

Sponsor and co-sponsor programs to enchance food safety knowledge and opportunities for Grant County Residents to benefit economically with value added safe food products in compliance with the New Mexico Environment Department.

Short-Term Objectives

Short Objectives: Have participants attend and see the extension service as a viable partner willing to assist them in these endeavors. Teach participants about safe food practices and eventually have them bring some viable products to farmer's markets and commercial markets.
