Plan Goal

To work with state 4-H to improve Science programming.

Situation Statement

The Memorial Middle School Agricultural Extension and Education Center (MMSAEEC) develops, delivers, and tests STEM based programming as a complement to in-class instruction at Memorial Middle School. These programs can be tailored to fit within 4-H Science and may prove useful in bolstering existing programs. MMSAEEC programming may also serve as a source of other ideas and interests for 4-H members, volunteers, and agents alike.

Target Audience and Actions

The target audience for this plan is 4-H agents, volunteers, and 4-H members. Content is delivered through workshop and conference activities and field trips. Telephone calls and meetings and other interactions will also assist in the collaborative efforts.

Short-Term Objectives

Aid county and state 4-H agents in their existing projects as well as supplement their programs with Memorial Middle School Agricultural Extension and Education Center (MMSAEEC) programming.

Medium-Term Objectives

Assist 4-H in other areas such as conferences and workshops.

Long-Term Objectives

Develop and refine Center programming so that can be used independently by 4-H and other collaborative efforts.

Evaluation Plan

Discussion with 4-H agents and surveys given to 4-H members and volunteers.
