Conservation and Efficient Use of Water
Plan Goals
Overall goal of this project is to meet present and future water demand through conservation measures that not only expand the efficient use of available water resources, but also create new water supplies.

With the constant need for water conservation The Labadie ditch group has worked closely with the agent secure funding for enhanced conservation work on their acequia . The agent helped in generating plans and develpoment of the acequia The West Pdl group is also involved with trying to restablish more conservation work for thier acequia . Presently the Labadie Ditch group was just awarded about 159,000 dollars for improvement to thier water system. The work to begin this fall for more pipe lines and improvement on the reseveror
