4-H program direction in Lincoln county is responsive to advisory committee input. Activities for 205 members of traditional clubs in the county stress personal growth and development of county youth. Competition is utilized as a teaching tool at county, district and state activities. Leadership opportunities are provided at club and County 4-H Council. In the past year Lincoln county members have served as State 4-H Ambassabors and as a State 4-H officer. County members have participated in numerous community service activities. A 4-H sponsored petting zoo exposed over 300 county school children to 4-H projects and activities.
