Impact Reports
Recruiting 4-H Members through Open House: The Bernalillo County 4-H Staff invited the general public who completed “4-H interest” forms distributed at the County and NM State fairs. Over 100 people attended the orientation and visited club booths to join 4-H. This is one way we are trying to reach diverse audiences and making all reasonable efforts to recruit youth and increase membership. 4-H Members and 4-H Leaders manned tables and displayed different project areas of interest to their particular club. About 50% of those attending learned about 4-H and the other 50% shared their knowledge about 4-H.
