College age members gained knowledge and skills related to leadership, teamwork and organizational management through trainings, service projects and regular business meetings in the Collegiate 4-H Program.
Youth involved in the NM 4-H Leadership team gained knowledge and skills related to teamwork, leadership, service and event planning through their year long commitment. The Home Ec Specialist served as advisor to the State 4-H Officer Team.
Fifteen leaders gained knowledge related to the new Home Economics Lettermen Recognition Program through trainings. Nine youth received awards in 2007.
500 youth representing 30 counties participated in service learning projects at the state level in 2007. Youth gained knowledge and skills related to community service, families in need of medical assistance and children in crisis.
Agents around the state have provided positive feedback related to resources available online and increased accessibility of 4-H information and educational publications due to the New Mexico 4-H Website.
