The 2010-11 Tucumcari Bull Test consisted of 85 performance tested bulls from thirteen cooperators. The 112 day test recorded average daily gain (ADG), weight day of age (WDA), feed efficiency, ribeye circumference, and a complete breeding soundness exam.
This reporting agent served a supporting role to specialist in efforts of education, advertisement of event, and testing of bulls. Other duties included veterinary assistance, record keeping, coordinating of pre bull program and sale day event.

Sierra C.E.S. suggests strong progress towards the completion of the long-term objective through the outstanding success experienced in the short and medium-term objectives. The plans future lies within an optimistic light.

During the first year 80% of all Sierra County producers were willing to work the Cooperative Extension Service. Of those producers previously mentioned, 100% reported an increase in knowledge and prefer the new protocols recommended by the agent. Furthermore, 75% of these producers reported an increase of 25% or greater in 1st heat conception rates. Adequate progress was made towards the completion of medium-term objectives.

Adequate progress has been made towards the completion of the short term objective in year one. The agent met with and completed conversational reviews with 80% of all producers utilizing advanced reproductive technologies.
