| Impact Report | The Chaves County 4-H Banquet was held in January to honor those members who completed their projects by completing their record books. 4-H leaders and community leaders were also recognized. Over 150 parents, leaders and 4-Hers were in attendance. County council officers gained skills in public speaking, leadership and teamworking skills through their year as an officer and in planning and conducting the banquet. The growth and development of the participating 4-H members is evident and is seen in their record books. Chaves County had one member complete a State Record Book, which was chosen as a trip recipient to attend the National 4-H Congress. |
