Impact Report 4-H Building Corporation: This Agent was the lead agent to work with the Bernalillo County 4-H Building Corporation. Sixty-six percent of the profits from the Bernalillo County 4-H Fair & Rodeo is dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the 4-H Building Corporation who meet quarterly. Those leaders plan and supervise the upkeep and repair of the 4-H Center. They also set the rental rates and rules for renters. Some of the renters have ignored the NO-Alcohol policy and emergency clean-ups and holding the damage deposit is often the case when dealing with quincineras. Long range planning is on hold until it is determined that the 4-H Center land lease can be renewed within the next five years. The building belongs to the 4-H Youth, but the land is leased from the county which is leasing from the Department of the Interior, and the site is prime real estate for the BIA to develop.
