Impact Report Santa Fe County 4-H has a very strong county council consisting of representation from all the clubs within the county. This year's team of county council officers consisted of 6 members from 4 different clubs. Of the 6 members on the team, 5 of them were serving as officers within the council for the first time. The agent worked with the team throughout the year to provide leadership training. The year began with an indepth officer training and planning session. The team examined their roles as officers, became familar with one another by completing team building challenges and a scavenager hunt, and became fully aware of their obligations for the upcoming year. The officers also planned their calendar for the upcoming year. Throughout the year the officer team met periodically to plan activities and prepare for meetings. The officer team put on a workshop for county members entitled "This is 4-H". Each member of the team prepared and delivered a workshop focusing on one part of the 4-H program. Members got to learn about the different activities and opportunities available to them through 4-H. The officer team also planned several fun activites including a movie night, and a ghost tour in Albuquerque's old town district. Of the 6 members on the team 100% currently serve as officers within their own clubs and 2 currently serve as state diplomats and ambassadors. All of them plan to continue serving in a leadership role in the upcoming year.
