Impact Report The County Agent's role is inclusive of helping clientele identify and advise them on controlling pest problems, be they weeds, insects, reptiles, or any other concerns. This year, the County Agent identified weed specimens and made recommendations on their control for twenty-three farmers and ranchers. Additionally, the County Agent conducted field visits and certified four hay fields as weed-free in accordance with the Weed Free Forage Program. The County Agent also provide a one hour presentation on Weed Identification and Control for thirteen agency personnel who were in need of continuing education units for recertification of the Public Applicator License in accordance with NMDA regulations.
