| Impact Report | A community wide youth day sponsored by CYFD was held during the month of April in conjunction with the National Child Abuse Prevention Week. Organizations were invited to share information about their organization to the public. Socorro County 4-H took advantage of the opportunity and developed hands-on stations which allowed the youth to make an item and take it with them. Youth made Dirt Babies, Homemade Play Do, 4-H clover shrink um’s and Horse feed (trail mix). Over 150 youth were given material on 4-H through brochures and flyers. As a result, 10 new 4-H members have enrolled since April. |
