Impact Report | Of all 78 participants that have attended 3 or more years in the Master Gardener Program, 59% reported that repeated training in turfgrass maintenance has helped them greatly in their career as a Master Gardener, and 72% reported that repeated training changed and enriched their understanding of turfgrass management differently than one time training would have. 55% admitted that repeated training changed their attitude towards turfgrass. Additional comments given anonymously by surveyed participants included: "Dr. L. has changed his presentation from year to year and there is always new information." "Dr. L. really knows his stuff. Each time I listen to him I learn more." "Dr. L. is always excellent and informative. I learn new points each time I listen to him." "I always look forward to this presentation." "All New Mexicans should have this training. Moreover, all states in the desert SW." "Very informative, learning more all the time. I wish we had grass in our landscape." |
