Impact Report | When surveyed, 81% of the 130 participants of the 2011 Master Gardener program in New Mexico considered training in turfgrass maintenance important. 96% of the participants reported that turfgrass training increased their knowledge of turf maintenance issues to either a great or a fair extent (immediately following a 3 hour training program). Additional comments given anonymously by surveyed participants included: "Good info for homeowner and hot line." "This is a topic that requires more time." "Very good lecture, thanks!" "I am friendlier towards grass now." "Very good presentation. Never wanted a lawn myself but I appreciate the info." "Amazing amount of information." "Extremely good information. There should be some way for all to have this info." "Interesting subject matter and useful to me." "Wonderful, useful, informative - thank you." "Excellent speaker and info." "Very informative." "Fantastic." "I was surprised to find this more useful and interesting than I thought it would be for this subject in our area." "This was very helpful training and I would like to know more." |
