| Impact Report | Aggie Video News Network: Video unit personnel began uplinking video and news stories to a central server for use by outside media sources. News programmers are sent a link to the server (http://nmsu.edu/avnn/) and info about a story, where they can preview a small clip and download larger files if they are interested. Once at the link, media personnel can download video and audio footage to use as part of their news reports regarding the university. The effort, led by NMSU’s University Communications and Marketing Services, will better promote the university and its programs, faculty and staff, and innovative research activity. University Communications and Marketing Services is scheduled to begin posting a story a week in March. |
