| Impact Report | Noxious Weed Survey The agent worked with two individuals a professor and a grad student from the University of New Mexico on a second Noxious Weed Impact Study. The agent was responsible for contacting 20 producers that had participated in the study in June of 2010. The research is looking at how the drought has affected the noxious weed infestations that had been treated the year before. There were ten identified weeds that were selected in 2010 and all the producers had one or all of these weeds on their farms or ranches. The results of the surveys are still being analyzed and should be out by Mid-March of 2012. |
