| Impact Report | 2011 Rabbit & Poultry Selection and Showmanship Workshop Agent coordinated with an adult leader to host a Rabbit & Poultry Workshop at the fairgrounds. Eight youth and seven adults attended this workshop. The workshop started with rabbits and how to care for and groom them. Then they discussed how to exhibit them. Next they talked about Poultry and how the care for and groom them for show. Then they worked on showmanship in Poultry. Many youth already had their rabbit or poultry but just had them as pets. They learned a lot about how to care for them including how to handle them safely. Several parents stated well we learned a lot about what we need to do differently next year. |
