Impact Report The Luna County Agriculture Agent held 2 workshops to reach his short-term objectives. The first was held to share the concepts of organgic gardening and then to stress the importance on scouting lawns and yards to discover problems early. The workshop was attended by 35 local clients and it lasted for 2 hours. Soil health was also discussed and business cards were handed out to insure the local clients could reach him when needed. A feedback tool was used to collect data from the workshop. The second workshop was held with the Deming Garden Club, the agent served as the MC and headed the group discussion at the workshop. Watering and caring for lawns and trees was the main topic. Tree borers continue to be a problem in Luna County, the agent shared helpful tips for the clients to use. The workshop was attended by 25 local gardeners. The workshop was 2 hours in length. Clients stated that great information had been shared and thanked the agent for offering the the workshop.
