Impact Report | NM STATE 4-H LIVESTOCK SCHOOL State Goat School was attended by approximately 57 youth and 12 adults from New Mexico and Arizona. County 4-H Agent served as assistant instructor. Youth received hands-on training related to husbandry, disease prevention, showmanship and ethics. Youth increased mastery and independence related to critical thinking, goal setting and self esteem. Participant wrote, “I really appreciate what you did for me and all the students at goat school. I have decided to move to the next level and try State Fair.” 14 youth and 2 adults from Sandoval County attended livestock school. |
