County Contests were held in June 2010. Forty three members participated in contests consisting of fashion review, talent competition, and home ec bowl. The Home Economist was in charge of helping to prepare individuals for the home ec bowl. 4 individuals planning to enter home ec bowl during county contests attended a series of four weekly trainings consisting of educational reinforcements and practice bowl competitions designed to help them develop skills in home economics related areas such as kitchen utensil and equipment identification, clothing construction tool and equipment recognition and identification, and elements of interior design identification.
