| Impact Report | Six Quay County 4-Hers attended four practices, conducted by Home Economist, held for them to prepare to represent New Mexico at the National Family Consumer Science Bowl and the National Family Consumer Science Skill-a-thon. These 4-Hers learn information on food safety, nutrition for themselves and the athlete, purchasing Mp3 players, how to be a better consumer, and information on renting living spaces. They learned to identify a variety of sewing, cooking and interior design items. In addition to what they learned they were rewarded with a great trip and came home as the 2nd place team in both contests. We also had the high point individual in FCS Bowl. |
