| Impact Report | Food Safety Presentation The Native Women in Agriculture expressed the need for an educational presentation regarding food safety since the upcoming crop season is here. Attendees learned from presentation about how to handle and dispose food properly due to food bacteria that could cause illness. Especially with crop season ahead each participant learned how to clean and wash vegetables and fruits. Agent conducted a power point presentation on Food Safety Agent also did an activity on how important it is to label foods. Interactive presentation brought forth thirteen attendees that expressed their own thoughts about food safety, learned more about food safety, and were able to leave the presentation with handouts. |
