Impact Report National Livestock Skill-A-Thon Contest Harding County earned the right to compete at the national contest by getting second place at the State Contest. This is one of the many ways that the 4-H program challenges young people to do their best and stay competitive. The objective was to go and place in the top five at the contest. The 4-H members were trained from 8-12 on Fridays for 6 weeks. They met with the agent at the school and learned different livestock production skills. The team members learned a lifetime of information that will help them later on in their respective careers and ended up earning 7th out of 19 teams.
