| Impact Report | Bosque Redondo Conservation Tour--2009/10 program year The Agent worked with 29 youth and 10 adults on a conservation and plant ID tour of the Bosque Redondo Memorial Pond. 6th grade youth and participating adults were educated on native plants and shrubs, invasive weeds and plants, their effect on the ecological makeup, their control as well as identification of both good and invasive plants. Youth were given a tour of the area upon identification and asked to id the known plants in various settings. All youth were able to id the subject matter plants upon completion of the tour and only two were able to id even one species before the educational tour began. |
