Impact Report | Golden Spread Cohaltiion - Tri County Health A series of programs were given to the clientele in the Tri County Health program. This program services adults who have either depression issues or a mentally challenged. The Extension Home Economist was approached about teaching a basic sewing class in which the members would make aprons. Six group members participated in the workshops and all completed their aprons. They cook each day during their program and wanted to have an apron to wear why they cooked. Some of the members had sewn before and some had never done any sewing before. The members learned how to read a pattern, layout and cutout a pattern and basic sewing. They enjoyed the program and have asked for a nutrition series this fall. |
