Impact Report 2009 The annual holiday program was presented with the food preparation segment being one of the biggest portions of the program. Over 450 participants attended one of three sessions. Recipes and ideas presented encouraged the use of slow cookers and making ahead to help promote healthy meals at home. These topics were requested from previous years. Food safety for the holidays was presented with a variety of meat thermometers and refrigerator thermometers displayed and discussed.
