| Impact Report | "Comfort Foods-Remade" Ag Expo (2009) Two cooking schools were presented at the NM Ag Expo in Portales with 52 participant attending from Roosevelt and Curry Counties, Muleshoe, Farwell and TexLine, Texas even someone from Pennsylvania. Participant were shown ways to lower fat and calories while increasing the health benefits of recipes prepared by substitutions of ingredients and varying the cooking methods. Participants expressed an interest in trying these recipes and incorporating these ideas into their own recipes at home. |
