Impact Report 4-H Adult Volunteer Leadership Development Objective #2 Leader meetings were held in both Clayton and Des Moines to reach 4-H leaders throughout the county. Leaders and parents were asked to help the Extension Agent planning the 4-H program for the upcoming year. Record Books were discussed and it was suggested that a record book workshop be given early in the year in order to get the members and their parents acquainted with the record book and the process of putting together a record book. Fund Raising was discussed and it was suggested that as long as the 4-H rodeo and the concession stand at the fair make enough money to meet program needs, that no other fund raiser be held. Putting the FUN back into 4-H was discussed. A summer hamburger fry/swimming party and dance as discussed along with other recreational type activities that might be held during the year. Livestcok fitting and showing workshops were suggested by the leaders to help members and their parents who are either new to the program or need updating on what is happening the livestock showing program. Objectives: A total of 11 leaders participated in the leader meeting which is about 25% of the leaders enrolled.
