Impact Report | State judging contests are a great way for youth to learn public speaking skills, critical thinking skills, and general subject matter skills about something they are interested in. Agent will take State Champion livestock skill-a-thon team to the national competition in Louisville. Team members will compete, see sights, witness the diverse livestock of the exposition and broaden their life skills. As a result of this trip and winning the state competition, these youth have really grown up and are excited about something in their lives that they succeeded at. They come to practice at 7am every Friday, energetic and ready to learn something new. This is a perfect example of how 4-H is an asset in the journey of young people to find their way in life. |
