| Impact Report | 2nd Zuni Kitchen Creations Second session was held May 2009- June 2009 and was completed by 9 Native American women. The women shared their concerns about the growing number of diabetes patients in the community of Zuni. They were provided with current information about healthy meals, they learned the pro-cons of popular diets and shared their comments on evaluations that were provided by CES staff. They too prepared several recipes during class time and were surprised that the recipes were very tasty and easy to prepare. The participants received aprons, measuring spoons and cups, and other items from the Zuni Food Distribution. |
