| Impact Report | Native Women in Agriculture On June 11, 2009 at the Native Women in Agriculture conference held at Mountain Casino. A small break out session attended by Native American women entitled “Herbs and Spices Instead of Salt?” Twenty –one participants attended the session. The participants learned the difference between herbs and spices, their uses, how to use them, and two picked out the session demonstrated and prepared their own poultry seasoning mix with the use of herbs and spices combined. All twenty-one participants’ lefts with positive feedback and confidence to prepare their own spices with handouts that were given during session. |
