| Impact Report | During the 2008-2009 membership year, the County Council Officer Team provided leadership opportunities at the county level in conjunction with County Council meetings. As host of the first ever Joint Northern 4-H District Contests, Santa Fe County 4-H youth and adults assumed leadership roles of the various committees to oversee the work that needed to be for District Contests. The committees formed included: Public Relations, evening activities, registration, workshops, donations/sponsorships and concession stand. District Contests were a complete success thanks to the hard work of the 60 plus volunteers that served as co-chairs and members of these five committees. Fourteen counties and over 170 youth competed in 16 contests over the two-day period. |
