Impact Report On January 16-19th, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM, five 4-H members and County Extension Personnel attending Senior Leadership Retreat. These five 4-H members received training in career and college preparation, their role as a 4-H Club Officer, techniques in communicating better, tips in being more organized and learning the importance of making good choices in their lives. Many of their life skills were advanced because of this weekend. These 4-H members also gained a valuable set of networking skills from meeting new peers, agents and New Mexico State faculty and ambassadors. 80% of the youth reported they received an increase in knowledge about career and college preparation as well as being a 4-H officer and leadership skills. 100% of the delegates reported this weekend as a positive impact on their life and experience in 4-H.
