These community events included Diabetes Wellness Day, Las Cruces Home and Lifestyle Show, National Night Out and the Hatch Chile Festival. The total number of attendees at these events was over 7,000. Agent will discuss civil rights with Extension Clubs: Every year clubs sign a recertification statement that states NMSU’s civil rights policy on non-discrimination. The agent presented the form at a council meeting to explain the policy and address any questions. All four clubs signed the recertification statement.
