Impact Report | The Lincoln county office coordinates with the Lincoln County Cooperative Weed Management Area (LCCWA), a group comprised of local, municipal, county, state and federal agencies to identify and provide control measures on noxious and invasive weeds. Funding is provided from county, state and federal sources to provide for contract spraying of infestations and provide low cost chemical to Lincoln county residents. We cooperate with other agencies to share expertise and provide educational materials to clientele of all agencies. This office responds to numerous requests for assistance during the year to respond to specific brush and weed concerns. We utilize Extension specialists to a great degree for this information. We continue to assist producers who wish to obtain their private perticide applicators license even though we no longer administer the exam. We provide study materials and facilitate testing scheduling. |
