Impact Report Santa Fe County 4-H has a very strong county council consisting of representation from all the clubs within the county. This year's team of county council officers consisted of 6 members from 3 different clubs. The 4-H agents worked with the team throughout the year to provide leadership training. The year began with an in depth officer training and planning session. The team examined their roles as officers, and became familiar with one another by completing a low ropes challenge course. The team was taken to the Santa Fe Community College where they were able use analytical skills, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and work together as a team to complete several physical challenges. The team also became fully aware of their obligations as officers and planned their calendar for the upcoming year at the training. Members from Santa Fe County attended several leadership events at both the county and state level. 20 members attended Senior Leadership Retreat, 5 members attended Youth Get-Away, 12 members attended State 4-H Conference, and 20 members attended the county Lock-In.
