Thanks to our leader and asisstant Anabelle Schaefer Baca she is working very hard to encourage and show youth the potenitial of 4h. Presently we have 25 youth full time and 5 parents that have gained such skills as livestock groomer and shower and the nutriconal and veterinary care of livestock . We have shown how to operate an effective 4h club and how to do demonstrations. Six youth attended two senior leadership skill training while two youth attended junior leadership trainings. We have a new club in Vaughn and they also have learned many new skill training . These youth are just novice members but have started showing liverstock at the local fairs and are begining to show many leadership skill during the club meetings . Our Leader Leslie Perez has taken the time to show many of the youth the value of 4h and what it can do for them . We are taking on more parents as volunteer leaders and this is encouraging. It is helping to further the progress of 4h in these small communities. The Vaughn club known as the Soaring Eagles 4h club has 12 new members and they are in their second year as a club. All of these youth have developed many new skills in leadership in achievement and are currently working on citiizenship experiences.
