| Impact Report | Civil rights for all home economics programs are taken into consideration in the planning stages. Here are some examples: ***For an annual childcaregivers workshop, a Spanish only track is added for those individuals who only speak Spanish. As a result, 25 to 30 individuals participate in this workshop. ***For a Diabetes Cooking School, allowances were made for three individuals in wheel chairs. ***Because of high population of Hispanics with Diabetes, a Spanish only Diabetes Cooking School is planned. |
