Impact Report MORA AND SAN MIGUEL COUNTIES ALONG WITH NRCS,EXTENSION, FOREST SERVICE TIERRA Y MONTES AND RC&D HAVE STARTED A WEED DISTRICT. THROUGH GRANT MONIES WE HAVE BENABLE TO HIRE A PERSON TO GPS INVASIVE WEEDS I THE TWO COUNTIES. WE ARE ALSO GOING TO SPRAY SOME DEMO PLOTS THIS COMMING SPRING. THIS WILL BENIFIT PRODUCERS BY SHOWING THEM HOW AND WHAT TO USE ON THESE WEEDS ON THEIR PROPREITY. WE HAVE ALSO PRODUCED HAND OUT MATERIALS FOR PRODUCERS SO THEY CAN IDENTIFY INVASIVE WEEDS ON THEIR PROPERTY. THE AGENT ALSO IDENTIFYS PLANTS FOR PRODUCERS IN THE COUNTY AND RECOMENDS HERBICIDES FOR PROPER SPRAYING. CLIENTELE BENEFIT BY INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF PLANTS AND HERBICIDES, SKILLS IN SPRAYING AND INPROVE THEIR LAND.
