| Impact Report | County 4-H Home Economist planned and conducted a 5 Sewing Fun Days for Novice, Junior, and Senior Members. 5 youth from various clubs attended the fun days. Each day consisted of 2 hours of instruction in various sewing techniques and projects. The first day of class youth learned the basic parts of a sewing machine and how to operate theirs. Youth practiced on sample pieces of paper and were able to make greeting cards by the end of the session. During the other sessions youth were instructed in making tote bags, pillow cases, sewing tool kits, and patch work pillows. |
