Impact Report Home Economist helped plan County Camp and held a workshop durning camp. 73 attended the three-day event. In June we held County Contest with 23 members competing. Home Economist ran the Favorite Foods contest and Consumer Decision Making contest and training. In May Home Economist also held two workshops at McCurdy Elementary School. The workshops were each held twice and covered Food Safety and Physical Activity. In all about 35 students participated and participated in teamwork and learned life skills. During the summer months the Home Economist worked with the County Summer Recreation program and presented on MyPyramid at 5 sites reaching 80 participants and about 10 volunteers. These paricipants also engaged in teamwork and learned life skills related to nutrition. In September the Home Economist offered a workshop "Fun With Food" at 3 Just Be It Field Trips. In all 350 students participated in this workshop and the Field Trip. These paricipants also engaged in teamwork and learned life skills related to nutrition.
